SheldonDx Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 8, 2026
Clinical AI Research Phase — Independent Verification Required
SheldonDx's Google Calendar scheduling integration, appointment management, and communication features are production user-facing services. Clinical AI outputs — including synthesis summaries, differential diagnosis weights, and session narratives — remain experimental tools for clinician exploration only. They have not been validated as standalone clinical instruments and must not be relied upon without independent clinical judgment.
Working toward GDPR & HIPAA readiness — not yet certified. See Privacy Policy.
SheldonDx and AskSheldon are products of ZEBRA HEALTH LTD (Company No. 16588391), registered at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“Clinician”, “you”) and ZEBRA HEALTH LTD (“SheldonDx”, “we”, “us”) governing access to and use of the SheldonDx platform at sheldondx.com and associated APIs (“Platform”).
By creating an account or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
SheldonDx is a clinical practice software tool that:
- Organises session notes and behavioral coding during ADOS-2/ADI-R observations
- Provides criteria-guided evidence summaries for clinician exploration
- Generates draft clinical reports for clinician review and editing
- Facilitates referral management and assessment coordination
All clinical decisions — including diagnosis, differential diagnosis, formulation, recommendations, and report content — are the sole professional responsibility of the registered clinician. SheldonDx outputs are informational starting points only.
To use SheldonDx you must:
- Be a qualified healthcare professional licensed to practice in your jurisdiction
- Hold current registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC, GMC, BPS in the UK; RCI, MCI in India; AHPRA in Australia)
- Be using the Platform for legitimate clinical, educational, or research purposes
- Be at least 18 years of age
SheldonDx reserves the right to verify credentials at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility cannot be confirmed. Provisional accounts (unverified) may have access to demo assessments only.
You agree that:
- You will independently verify all automated reasoning-support content before using it in any clinical document, communication, or decision
- You will not present automated outputs to patients or caregivers as diagnostic conclusions without your own clinical review
- You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of any report you send, share, or submit under your name
- “Clinical reasoning support” means SheldonDx applies criteria-guided frameworks to organise evidence. It does not replace a real MDT and carries no clinical authority
- AI models may produce errors, hallucinations, demographic biases, or outdated clinical reasoning — you must exercise professional scepticism at all times
The ADOS-2 and ADI-R are proprietary clinical instruments published by Western Psychological Services (WPS). SheldonDx provides software tooling to assist clinicians who are already trained and licensed to administer these instruments.
At first use of a live session instrument you will be asked to complete an attestation confirming your WPS licence. This attestation is recorded with a timestamp in your account.
Before initiating any session recording (Recall.ai bot) or live AI transcription, you must:
- Obtain explicit verbal and written informed consent from the patient, or (for children) their parent/legal guardian
- Explain that the session will be recorded, AI-transcribed, and that notes will be retained in the clinical record
- Explain the retention period (7 years for adults, 25 years for children)
- Retain a copy of the signed consent form in your own clinical records
You acknowledge and accept the following known limitations of SheldonDx AI:
- Hallucinations: Large language models can generate plausible-sounding but factually incorrect clinical statements
- Training data bias: AI models may reflect biases in historical diagnostic literature, including under-recognition of autism in women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and non-white populations
- Not validated as a diagnostic instrument: Clinical reasoning-support outputs have not been subject to prospective clinical validation studies
- Context limits: Automated reasoning support operates on a limited window of evidence and may miss clinically significant information present in the full assessment history
- No human observation: Automated reasoning support cannot observe or interpret non-verbal cues, affect, prosody, or subtle behavioral signals the way a trained clinician can
SheldonDx warrants that the AI outputs are generated by the described system. We make no warranty as to their clinical accuracy, validity, or fitness for any particular diagnostic purpose.
You must not use SheldonDx to:
- Produce, distribute, or submit diagnoses or clinical reports without your own independent review
- Use AI outputs to train third-party machine learning models
- Share access credentials with any other person
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or reproduce clinical instrument content protected by WPS copyright
- Process data relating to patients who have not been referred to you in your capacity as a qualified clinician
- Use the Platform for any purpose that violates applicable law or your professional code of conduct
- Attempt to circumvent security controls or access data belonging to other clinicians

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, misrepresent credentials, or if continued access poses a risk to patient safety or data security. We will provide 7 days’ notice for non-breach terminations.

Before termination you may request a data export in JSON and PDF formats from Settings → Export. Exports are available for 30 days after account closure.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), seated in Bangalore, Karnataka.
For clinicians registered in the United Kingdom: disputes may also be brought before the courts of England and Wales, which shall have concurrent jurisdiction with the Indian arbitration clause for UK-resident clinicians only.
